TOMMORROW'S Memories- Final Edit
Evauation:
I contributed to this production by being the writer, director, producer and editor all roles had equal amount of responsibility. I had to create and plan a story to write as well as take charge of the productions artistic and dramatic aspects, also visualising the script to help guide the technical crew and actors to what I wanted, and then finally edit all the scenes together to create the final film.
The target audience was aimed at teens and for people ages over as it's more of a mature romance story, also the black & white colours would not appeal to a any younger audience other than teen and over. The actors are the same age range of our own intended target audience which helps imply who our target audience is also the locations of the park & apartment are just general so apples to both teen & older audience.
Our final production compared to our original intentions we're very similar with just minor changes, such as not standing up in certain places this was due to the space we were filming in, also we scrapped one scene where we see Lewis walking out of the shop, this was due to time limits. The only change I would make if i done this again would be recording the dialogue of the argument so I could of edited that in the background to make the scene more intense.
We used a range of sound techniques for the sound unit, We used limited dialogue which was at the end we made this diegetic meaning we can see clearly where the source is coming from. We also recorded our own ambient/natural sound for background sound in the park. We used sound effects (SFX) such as recording the sound of the phone which we recorded, sounds we used from copyright free sources were the stone splash and the glass ripping sound with the rose.
We use 2 different copy right free sound tracks for the film, soundtrack are not created specifically for films.
Epic Emotional Orchestral Music | The Call (Download and Royalty FREE) throughout film. The Bluest Star - The 126ers [POP] free music & no copyright- credits
Copyright is a major issue in the creative industry, there is a big urge on legal protection so that their original material cannot be used in someone else's name. Copyright can only be applied on the application of the idea, not the idea itself. This is why we made sure that all our sources were either created ourself's or copy right free.
I believe the content of the film was good as it got a clear story across, I think the story itself was good and the actors agreed.
